WaterWare's Multi-Action Package allows your users to print, email or download multiple documents from any DocuShare Collection or search results page
A common task for many users is to print multiple documents from DocuShare. Rather than repeating "open document - print - close document" over and over, WaterWare's multi-print utility allows you to select any number of documents and print all of them with just a few mouse clicks.
In a similar fashion, users can also email copies of multiple documents or download a batch of documents as a compact ZIP file.
Shopping Cart
Adding a DocuShare Shopping Cart to your site allows users to select documents for automated printing in a production print shop. Using the standard ecommerce website model, users view documents in DocuShare and add them to their shopping cart before going to the check out page. Printing and delivery costs can be billed directly to a user or their department
Mirror Agent
WaterWare's Mirror Agent for DocuShare allows content from one DocuShare server to be mirrored to another DocuShare server. Typically content is created and managed on a DocuShare server that is inside the corporate firewall, inaccessible to the general public. The Mirror Agent allows specific content to be published or mirrored from the secure DocuShare server to another DocuShare system that is accessible via the Internet.
The DocuShare Mirror Agent has been used by city and county governments to allow citizen access to public documents while maintaining tighter security on their primary DocuShare server.
Calendar Rollup
Calendar Rollup gives you the ability to create color coded calendars that combine schedules and events gathered from multiple DocuShare calendars. You can now create DocuShare calendars for each meeting or conference room and combine all the schedules into one easy to use, color coded calendar.
Customized Document Management Websites
WaterWare has worked with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) clients that use DocuShare as the backend foundation for completely customized document management portals. The customers of these clients can be presented with a User Interface (UI) that is completely separated from DocuShare.
While all documents are stored and managed in DocuShare to provide security and access control, WaterWare has worked with the SaaS provider to create a custom front end that uses the DocuShare Application Programming Interface (API) to located and retrieve documents.
